Good Afternoon ladies and welcome back to Labella Morenita. Ladies we ALL know how hard it is to find a good hairstylist. There always seems to be something that just is not done quite right. I myself have definitely had my fair share of salon nightmares. No one wants to deal with heat damage, a bad haircut, or worse ending up with a modern day Jheri Curl- YIKES. I have been a loyal customer at Lucy’s for over 20 years. Lucia (Lucy’s sister) and I were talking one day and I mentioned to her it would be dope for Lucy to put together a website after she remodeled her store. It would be the perfect time to do a photoshoot and create a logo so that she would have a bigger online presence. I have been doing some consulting work for the past couple of years and Lucy’s place was the perfect client to work with. There are so many great businesses out there that provide great services but don’t have an online presence. It is so important to have an online presence because it is a way to market your business to more people, while providing all the information that people need without having to answer calls all day. Lucy’s new remolded website features all of the important information needed such as what services they provide, pictures of previous clients to provide a visual, client testimonials, location and hours, and a link where you can book appointments online. Growing up I always went to the hair salon early on weekend mornings and it never failed to be completely packed and the phone was always ringing with people wanting to make appointments and asking about pricing. Lucy’s Place has been a staple hair salon in Hempstead for the past 25 years. The salon offers a variety of services for all hair types and textures. I don’t trust many people with my hair, and I mean at all, but Lucy definitely gained my trust. When I walked in the vibe was instantly warm. She greeted me and within 5 minutes my hair was being washed. A wash, deep condition, and a much much needed cut and my hair was the freshest it has ever been.
